Scamorza is an Italian soft cheese made from cow's milk and extremely popular and loved in Italy. It has a cute pear shape. This is due to the way it is prepared. Once it's ready, it needs to be dried - it looks like a cloth ball that is tied at one end (about 1/3 of the ball) and hung. Smoked scamorza is much more preferred due to the cheese's strong flavour with a slightly smoky nuance and nutty flavour.
